Technical Engagement Director

Strategic Focus • Full-Time

The Role

You are the bridge between American enterprise clients and our New Zealand engineering hub. You don't just write code; you translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps for our 24/7 delivery teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead high-stakes stakeholder meetings with Fortune 500 clients
  • Architect technical solutions for legacy modernization projects
  • Coordinate with NZ engineering team across time zones
  • Drive business development and client relationships
  • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise software development
  • Deep understanding of Legacy Modernization patterns
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with .NET, Java, or similar enterprise stacks
  • Proven track record managing complex client engagements
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Wellington, NZ

Compensation

$150K - $200K + equity + performance bonuses

Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java/React)

Engineering Focus • Full-Time

The Role

The engine room of DallaSystems. Work with modern stacks to modernize legacy US infrastructure. You will execute high-velocity sprints during the NZ day, handing off to US-based leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Build microservices and modern web applications
  • Migrate legacy Java/Spring applications to modern architectures
  • Implement React frontends with exceptional UX
  • Write comprehensive tests and documentation
  • Participate in daily handoffs with overseas team

Requirements

  • 5+ years full-stack development experience
  • Strong Java/Spring Boot and React expertise
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Based in Wellington or willing to relocate

Compensation

NZD $120K - $160K + benefits
